2025 Green Fintech Symposium – Creating Synergies Through Finance
Join the 2025 Green Fintech Symposium, a highlight event of Hong Kong Green Week! The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is committed to promoting green and sustainable finance and supporting banks in managing climate risk. As the technology sector is becoming increasingly pivotal in advancing solutions to climate change, it is important for banks to understand and incorporate cutting-edge green technologies to enhance both climate risk management and sustainable finance practices. The HKMA will continue to encourage and support green innovation in the financial markets, leveraging Hong Kong’s position as both a fintech and sustainable finance hub.
Following the success of the Green and Sustainable Banking Conference in December 2023, the HKMA continues to promote collaboration between the banking and the technology sectors. The 2025 Green Fintech Symposium (the “Symposium”) serves as a platform for industry players to learn from each other through thought-provoking panel discussions and presentations. The theme of the Symposium, Creating Synergies Through Finance, highlights the HKMAʼs vision to foster cross-sector partnership in the face of global climate change.
