Event Highlight | 51st International Exhibition of Invention Geneva (11-15 March 2026)

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) achieved outstanding recognition at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, garnering 18 awards for 17 innovation projects. The accolades included four Gold Medals with Congratulations of the Jury, nine Gold Medals, and four Silver Medals. Notably, one project was honored with the Saudi Innovation Excellence Prize from the Ministry of Health, highlighting CUHK’s commitment to advancing global technology.
This year’s award-winning projects showcase significant transformative potential, addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the world today. Innovations span various fields, including satellite technology, healthcare, artificial intelligence, medical diagnostics, sustainable energy, and robotics, all poised to create a lasting impact on society and contribute to a smarter, healthier, and more sustainable future.

This innovative formulation targets metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) and has demonstrated potential in preclinical models and pilot clinical studies, showing reductions in liver fat and stiffness, improved metabolic parameters, and a strong safety profile.
