WorldInvent Singapore (WoSG) serves as the platform for accelerating innovation transformation and sustainability across companies, industries, and public organizations. WoSG is dedicated to connecting local innovators with global talents, encouraging collaboration to develop solutions for the world’s pressing challenges. Organized by the Innovation Design & Entrepreneurship Association (IDEA), WoSG 2025 was held from 16 to 18 August, 2025, in Singapore. This year, Prof. Chaoran HUANG (Assistant Professor, Department of Electronic Engineering) and Mr. Benshan Wang (PhD student, Department of Electronic Engineering) received the Gold Medal and the Future Technology Excellence Award for their groundbreaking invention titled “NeuroLightningLink: Integrated Neuromorphic Photonic Processor for Next-Generation Million-GPU Data Center Interconnects”.
