The final pitching day for the HKTDC Start-up Express 2025 took place on June 11, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention Centre. This initiative, aligned with Hong Kong’s vision to emerge as a leading innovation and technology hub, was spearheaded by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The Startup Express program was meticulously designed to nurture innovative ventures and cultivate a new generation of global entrepreneurs. ⋅

Each year, the program selects 10 winners, providing them with a wealth of opportunities that include extensive marketing activities, exposure to investors, and potential partnerships. This year, it is excited to announce that 3 of the 10 winners were from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The awarded teams are:

1) ACTuWISE Limited (PIC: Prof. Connie CHONG Yuen Yu, Nethersole School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong)

2) CELLmeric Limited (PIC: Prof. Patrick TANG Ming Kuen, Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong)

3) RT HealthTech Co., Limited (PIC: Prof. Raymond TONG Kai-yu, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
