【Cohort 8 | Seed Funding Applications Now Open! 】

Have innovative ideas to tackle social challenges? Impact Innovation Lab’s Cohort 8 is now accepting seed funding applications! We offer comprehensive resources to help social startups turn their ideas into reality.

Successful applicants will join our incubation programme. During the 6-month programme, they will receive up to HKD 100,000 in seed funding, expert mentorship, access to a makerspace, partner referrals and support to accelerate their development.

Requirements:

• Permanent residents of Hong Kong who are 18 years old or above
• Teams of one to five members
• Proposals focused on pressing poverty issues and the needs of vulnerable groups, especially households living in subdivided units, single-parent households, and elderly households

Across six cohorts, we have selected 55 incubatees, each showing strong potential to address the needs of the underprivileged. Our projects include developing tactile-feedback navigation insoles and an application for visually impaired persons and elders, training underprivileged youths as qualified swimming assistants with career planning, and developing a modest fashion brand for local Muslim women, and more.

有創新諗法去解決社會問題？「創效實現室」第八輪計劃現正接受種子基金申請，為初創社企提供創業所需資源，實現所想！

成功嘅申請者將會成為我哋嘅培育項目，獲得高達港幣十萬元嘅種子基金、顧問指導、創客空間、合作機構轉介等全面支援，喺長六個月嘅培育計劃期間實踐項目。

只要你符合以下要求就可以遞交申請：

• 18歲或以上嘅香港永久性居民

• 一至五人一隊

• 題目必須關注本地貧窮議題、弱勢社群所需，特別係劏房住戶、單親家庭、長者住戶

首六輪計劃合共選出55個培育項目，照顧唔同弱勢社群所需，包括幫助視障人士同長者嘅導航鞋墊及應用程式、培訓基層青年成為游泳助教嘅職涯計劃，以及為本港穆斯林女性而設嘅時尚品牌等等。
