Organised by the Digital Policy Office (DPO), the Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA) 2025 is officially launched. The recruitment day was co-organised by the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), held on 29 May 2025 (Thursday) at Tencent Westart.

About the Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA)
The Hong Kong ICT Awards (HKICTA) aims to recognise and promote outstanding information and communications technology (ICT) inventions and applications, thereby encouraging Hong Kong’s ICT elites and enterprises to strive for innovation and excellence. Through concerted efforts of the ICT sector, academia and the Government, the HKICTA has always been highly regarded by the information technology industry.
The HKICTA 2025 consists of eight award categories. There will be one Grand Award in each category, and an “Award of the Year” will be selected from the eight Grand Awards by the Grand Judging Panel. In a bid to foster the innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI), the “Best Use of AI” award winner will be selected in each of the eight categories to magnify and honour outstanding achievements in harnessing the power of AI in respective areas.
