The Award Ceremony of The Vice Chancellor’s Cup of Student Entrepreneurship (VCCE) 2025 was held on 12 June 2025, in recognition of the outstanding entrepreneurial talents among CUHK students. The award ceremony was officiated by Professor POON Wai-yin, Provost of CUHK, who delivered an uplifting and motivational opening remarks to begin the special occasion.

The Vice Chancellor’s Cup of Student Entrepreneurship (VCCE) is an annual entrepreneurship competition co-organized by the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services (ORKTS) and the Center for Entrepreneurship (CfE). For nearly two decades, VCCE has served as a distinguished platform at CUHK, fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations and the entrepreneurial spirit amongst our students. Through a series of thoughtfully designed activities, it cultivates not only our students’ understanding of entrepreneurship but also challenges their creativity and resilience as they embark on this entrepreneurial journey

This year, nearly 40 applications has been received, engaging approximately 90 students from all eight Faculties, which offered a wealth of innovative, cross-disciplinary entrepreneurial ideas of great potential. After two rigorous rounds of competition, five project teams have emerged as award winners for their outstanding performances. Congratulations to all the awardees!
