September 15, 2023金管局今年啟動「數碼港元」先導計劃，近日滙豐及恒生銀行公布首輪試驗進展。恒生銀行表示，該機構參與的3個用例當中，關於可編程支付用例的實境模擬測試已於本月完成。而滙豐與科大商學院，將於明日（16日）起展開為期一周的假設性的數碼港元測試。 恒生與7商戶合作測試 成功支付及發獎勵 恒生表示，夥拍數碼港、中文大學及其他不同企業，讓過百位個人消費者、中大師生及恒生員工，在7間商戶成功以恒生假設性的數碼港元錢包參與測試，包括商戶支付及獎勵計劃、資助發放、以及個人對個人轉賬。 恒生行政總裁施穎茵及一眾管理層，亦一同參與是次實境模擬測試，施穎茵表示，恒生自央行數碼貨幣的初始階段已一直參與其中，並積極支持金管局探索數碼港元，今次測試所得的經驗，可為數碼港元的未來發展提供參考，並將推動該行增強香港在環球支付市場的競爭力。 恒生行政總裁施穎茵親身體驗，以假設性的數碼港元在商戶購買食物。 滙豐科大測試 每名師生擁100元代幣消費 日前滙豐與科大商學院亦公布，將於本月16日起展開為期一周的假設性的數碼港元測試，近200名科大師生已報名參與試驗，每位參加者可透過計劃特設的電子錢包內，獲得100元假設性的數碼港元代幣，在7天測試期間，於校內的咖啡店及飯堂等共5家商戶消費。 滙豐指，為準備是次測試，設計並構建了一個平台，利用分布式分類帳技術（DLT），模擬在不同零售場境的設定下，處理可編程貨幣的支付和即時結算。另一方面，原型數碼代幣亦具備智能合約和可編程功能，讓客戶於完成符合條件的交易時，可自動獲取預設的獎賞。 滙豐香港區數字化總監博揚（左二）、科大商學院院長譚嘉因（右二）及學生，一起參與為期一周的假設性數碼港元試驗。 科大：有助了解數碼港元支付定位 滙豐香港區數字化總監博揚（Bojan Obradović）表示，香港的支付生態系統百花齊放，是次研究結果將有助驗證數碼貨幣在零售及公共場景的效用。科大商學院院長譚嘉因表示，這項試驗計劃為有關數碼港元的進一步研究奠下基礎，讓行業持份者更好了解其吸引力，以及於現有支付服務生態系統中的定位。 滙豐續指，是次測試利用了科大在金融科技方面的研究，以展示假設性的數碼港元的潛在優勢，詳情將於今年第四季公布。- August 24, 2023From left to right : Dr. Victor LAU (Head of Venture Acceleration, the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services, CUHK) , Ms. Joyce NG (Managing Director…
