Their “Mui Tsz Lam Revitalisation Project” has been awarded the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia “Research Project of the Year: Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences”.This project, supported by the Countryside Conservation Office’s Countryside Conservation Funding Scheme, is centred on collaborative restoration and brings together villagers, students, and volunteers to revitalise the 360-year-old Hakka village of Mui Tsz Lam.
