Open for Applications – Asia Smart Innovation Awards 2025 (Deadline: 11 July 2025)

The Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA), proudly presents The Asia Smart Innovation Awards 2025 (formerly known as the Asia Smart App Awards). This year marks a significant transformation, expanding its scope to celebrate not only smart apps but also innovative smart solutions across industries such as media, digital art, and entertainment. The awards unite 17 regional co-organisers from across Asia, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Korea, the Mainland, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan (NEW), the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. This collaborative effort highlights Hong Kong’s pivotal role as a key connector in the region’s tech ecosystem, fostering technological advancement and showcasing transformative innovations.

The Award

Outstanding contestants will receive qualified comments from a panel of professional assessors during the assessment; and gain invaluable experience through participating in the ASIA. Every entry gets a fair chance to be awarded with the Asian-wide recognition and extensive regional media exposure.

2. Benefit from advanced mentorship programme (for finalists only) to improve company performance with professional comments
3. Enjoy extensive media exposure
4. Receive a free round-trip economy class air ticket and accommodation in Hong Kong to attend the Asia Smart App Summit cum Awards Presentation Ceremony (for finalists located outside Hong Kong)
5. Join a curated delegation to Shanghai, featuring tech tours at TusStar Innovation Hub and global exposure at China International Import Expo (CIIE), with sponsored flights and accommodation to unlock mainland market opportunities. (for Hong Kong finalists and merit winners only)
6. Each region will have an opportunity for post-competition consultations, welcoming companies from various areas to explore business development in Hong Kong (for finalists located outside Hong Kong)
7. To be featured in the WTIA’s email newsletter and social media posts; and
8. To be featured on the ASA website for years

Eligibility

  • Entry is open to all legally registered entities (companies, NGOs, or academic institutions) in any Asian economy, including the 17 partner regions.
  • Eligible entries include smart solutions. Smart solutions refers to any Technology-Driven Projects: Innovations integrating advanced technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, AR/VR, blockchain, big data).
  • Entry is open to all types of applications, including Native, hybrid, or web-based solutions that provide practical functionalities or streamline business operations.
  • At least one of the main creators of the applying solution must be registered in any country or region in Asia. The applying solution must be mainly developed for the Asian market(s).
  • The main creator(s) must hold the intellectual property rights for the entry or provide written endorsements from relevant parties (e.g., clients, developers, or agents) who share or hold these rights.
  • The submitted solution must be active in the marketplace or publicly accessible on a recognized platform (e.g., Smart solutions/ campaigns must be in operation; applicants need to provide project invoice/ corporation proof. Project agreement/ event photos) during the application and assessment periods.
  • IP ownership: Submit copyright/patent documentation, or Client/developer authorization letters if IP is shared

活動回顧|2026 年「同心聚力 科創未來」港澳青年浙江行 (2–5 July 2026)
