The visiting event “Exploring InnoPort: Talk with InnoPeers+’ CEOs” was successfully held on 18 July 2024 (Wed) at InnoPort.

To facilitate the exploration of diverse academic fields and provide valuable insights into future studies at CUHK, Summer Institute (SI), a two-week summer programme specifically designed for local and international high school students aged approximately 16-17 (S.4 to S.5 or equivalent) was organized, including the enrichment session provided by ORKTS InnoPort. Over 30 participants, comprising local and international high school students, startup members, and interns, actively engaged in this event.

InnoPort extended invitations to InnoPeers+—CUHK startups situated in the InnoPort Co-Working Space—namely Mobut and Hetaro Lab, to share their entrepreneurial journeys with the attendees. This collaboration provided a firsthand glimpse into Knowledge Transfer within the university setting, enhancing the overall experience of the event. The impact resonated deeply with participants, offering them an inspiring look at potential academic paths and practical insights into the startup ecosystem. It also provided the startups with a platform to showcase their innovations, fostering connections and potential collaborations with the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs.
