Cubic Zine Scholar Dr. Chow talked about “Knowledge Transfer to Bring Changes Through Peace Education” on TV

Dr. Chow Wai Yin (from the CUHK Faculty of Arts), featured in our Cubic Zine bimonthly cover story in June, and her team received the interviews from media outlets Cable News, TVB and TVB Pearl.

Read the interview: https://innoport.cuhk.edu.hk/cubiczine-en/chowwaiyin/

Dr. Chow shared her inter-disciplinary research insights on integrating education, religion and psychology, and she introduced the “Inner Peace and Outer Peace” curriculum offered by her SouLight Spiritual Education Centre, a social enterprise funded by the Sustainable Knowledge Transfer Project Fund (S-KPF). Dr. Chow and her team highlighted the crucial role of “Peace Education” in fostering peacebuilding, conflict transformation and empowering youth.

During the interview, Dr. Chow guided the media to explore our Labyrinth at Pommerenke Student Centre. This labyrinth, the first among Hong Kong universities, provides a tranquil place for mindful walking. Visitors can focus on their breath, follow their steps, relax their minds and bodies, and allow their thoughts to settle.

Our InnoPort Team and Social Innovation Team eagerly anticipate more impactful interviews in collaboration with CPRO (The Chinese University of Hong Kong).
